What is a license?
By purchasing a license, you do not own the typeface itself. A font license gives you the right to use a typeface under certain conditions you must respect. You have to read all the terms of your license.
Who needs a license?
If you need to install a typeface on your computer, you must purchase a license. For a Web use, the owner of the domain name must necessarily subscribe to a license.
Under what conditions must my client subscribe to a license?
Your customer must subscribe to a license in his name if he has to install a typeface on his computer. If you deliver a template to your customer containing Slow Fonts, then they must purchase a license. If you create a website for your client that uses Slow Fonts typography, they must also purchase a license on their behalf.
Will a license allow me to work with a freelancer?
If you are working with an outside party, such as a freelancer, they must also purchase a license in their name. The licenses allowing the installation of the typography on several computers authorize this only for companies, agencies, studio and for a precise address.
→ Special case: a service provider such as a printer or a developer is not obliged to subscribe to a license if he deletes the typeface file from his computer at the end of his mission. It is your responsibility to see to that.
My company works at two different locations, what type of license should I purchase?
If your company works at two different addresses and you need to install the typography on computers at both addresses, you need to subscribe to several licenses. One license per address and number of computers.
Am I allowed to modify the typeface?
No. You are not allowed to modify the typeface in any way and you are not allowed to ask another typographer to do this work.You cannot rename the file, add glyphs, modify letters, add ligatures, convert the file, add a supported language... Only very slight modifications, within the framework of a logo, are possible. This is possible only if the modification impacts only a few letters, and only if the typography is vectorized. The typography file must not be altered.

Do you offer custom versions of your typography, as well as custom creations?
Yes, it is possible to design custom versions of typefaces to fit your project. These modifications can not be done by a third party, you must contact us, and we will be happy to propose solutions.

Are the licenses limited in time?
Our licenses are not limited in time.
Is it possible to use the typeface on several projects?
Yes, our licenses allow you to use the typography on multiple projects without limitation of distribution with these uses: Prints, Web, App and ePub.

Can I use my license for Print AND Web?
Yes, our licenses cover Print, Web, App and ePub uses of our typefaces. For example: it is possible to use a Slow Fonts typeface for your print communication as well as for your website without subscribing to a new license if you respect the installation limit of the typeface file of your license.

My company is growing and I need to install the typeface on new computers, what should I do?
If the number of these new computers exceeds the limit of installation per computer of your initial license, you will have to update your license so that it is again adapted to your needs.
